Privacy & Research Participant Information

Vocari is a university research prototype developed as part of the Rutgers University Master of Business & Science (MBS) Product Experience Design program. The purpose of this application is to evaluate user experience, emotional design, and usability. Participation is voluntary, and protecting participant privacy is a core design principle.

During usability testing, Vocari may collect:

  • Responses to questionnaires and surveys
  • Anonymous interaction data within the prototype
  • Task completion information
  • Optional heart rate measurements from a participant's smartwatch
  • Anonymous facial engagement analytics generated through MorphCast when participants voluntarily grant webcam permission

No personally identifiable information is intentionally collected unless voluntarily provided through the Contact page.

Vocari is a non-commercial educational research prototype developed for graduate coursework. It is intended solely for usability research and user experience evaluation.
